Watertown's Road Paving Program Project Update

The Town of Watertown announces that reclamation and paving shall start on or about May 15th weather pending for the location of Middlebury Road between Cherry Ave and Deerfield Lane.

Over the next few months, the Watertown Road Paving Program will be diligently working on a series of road paving and repair initiatives aimed at improving the safety, accessibility, and overall condition of Watertown's road network. Residents should be aware of working crews and reduce speed on local roads during work. It is highly recommended that residents and commuters who travel these roads seek alternative routes to avoid being delayed if possible.

Middlebury Road will be closed to through traffic from Cherry Avenue to Deerfield Lane. A detour will be set up starting at Cherry Avenue, left onto Lockwood Drive, left onto Deerfield Road which will bring you back to Middlebury Road. Fieldwood Drive residents will be able to take a Left hand turn and follow the detour. Only Residents that live in this area of construction will be permitted access during construction.

Please CLICK HERE for map of the road closure.

All road closures and or construction will be between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:00 pm.
